Together our Team is passionate about transforming attitudes about ‘Gender Based Violence’ and being actively part of reducing the number of lives it affects.
About Our Programs
We deliver interactive, educational workshops based on a Rights, Assertiveness, and Self-Worth framework, combined with practical physical self-defence skills. This evidence-based approach has been shown to strengthen personal safety and help reduce the incidence of abuse, assault, and bullying. This model is known as Empowerment Self Defence.
Our Founder and Director, Tanya Langford, is a recognised Domestic Violence Prevention Expert, Facilitator, and author of
The Domestic Abuse Prevention Manual. Our team is dedicated to challenging attitudes surrounding gender-based violence (GBV) and playing an active role in reducing its impact. We believe GBV is preventable and are committed to fostering safer communities, families, and individuals.
We are based in the Peel region of Western Australia and are available to travel to regional WA.
